Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 calls for help across the state, primarily for property damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

Meteorological Predictions

Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.

The following day was predicted as the wettest day, with continued severe weather risk expected across different parts of both states.

Public health experts warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the current weather patterns.
